October 7 – students exhibition

In a special exhibition presented at the youth village, 10th grade students from the film major with the major’s coordinator Tal Ben-Sira organized the exhibition named “On the Seventh Sign in October” – a chilling collection of photos documenting the events of that horrible Saturday that left a deep mark on the national memory.

The photos taken by the students themselves, turned the date 7.10.2023 into a tragic Israeli symbol, a Cain’s seal for the outbreak of the difficult “Iron Swords” war.

Through the camera lenses, the students documented their worldview as teenagers experiencing the horrors of war. This exciting educational initiative put the voices of boarding school students in the center of the stage and the unique lens through which they reflect the harsh reality.

Art and creativity served here as a healing channel to deal with the trauma and strengthen the spirit in the new reality.
