Captain Nir Binyamin

The Hadassah Neurim Village mourns and grieves the death of Captain Nir Binyamin, 29 years old, a combat officer in the 8208 Battalion, 261st Brigade, who was killed in the building collapse disaster in the Gaza Strip. The late Nir passed away on January 22, 2024, and was buried in the military plot of Kfar Vitkin cemetery.

Nir grew up in the Hadassah Neurim Village and studied at the Ben Gurion Educational Center. His parents Michal and Ofer are residents of the youth village; run for many years boarding school dormitory in Hadassah Neurim, and today Ofer is a part of the educational team of the village.

We hug the Binyamin family and wish to support them in their severe pain.

The students and the community of the Hadassah Youth Village, Beit Yanai, Beit Harot, Kfar Vitkin, Hofit and more followed with great pain the funeral procession of the late Capt. Nir Binyamin, from the Hadassah Youth Village to the military section of the cemetery in Kfar Vitkin carrying Israeli flags.
