Hadassah women on a solidarity mission

We were excited to host the solidarity delegation of Hadassah women organization in our youth village in January. Nearly 50 Hadassah leaders came to Israel to show their support for the country after the Black Saturday.

During the exciting visit, we demonstrated to the honourable delegation our extensive educational work even in the conditions of the war. The delegation was impressed by the creative ways in which our dedicated staff take care of the students’ well-being and gained a glimpse of the professional treatment of the village’s graduates.

One of the exciting highlights was the special photo exhibition of the students of the film major, who translate their feelings and emotions after the events of October 7th into an exaptational pictures. The heart-wrenching photos moved the participants and sharpened the importance of educational activities in these difficult days.

In February, we had the privilege of hosting Carol Ann Schwartz, Hadassah National President, on her first visit to the village. Executive Director of Hadassah’s Offices in Israel, Suzie Patt Benvenisti, Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel Sheryl Seligson, village chairwoman Einat Reich and village director Ami Magen were present during the visit.
